1. Data Collection
RewritePilot collects and processes limited account information such as your email address, profile details, plan and role information, extension usage events, analytics data, and service metadata needed to operate RewritePilot securely. For the Chrome extension, access is limited to supported surfaces on Gmail, Outlook, and RewritePilot-owned pages, and data use is limited to the extension's single purpose of generating email replies and rewrites you request.
2. Email Content
When you use RewritePilot, Gmail or Outlook email content selected or submitted by you through the extension or website is transmitted to RewritePilot and supporting AI services to generate replies or rewrites. We do not sell personal data and we do not use email content for advertising. Limited request metadata, token usage, and related service records may be stored securely for service operations, abuse prevention, account features, support, and usage enforcement.
3. Third-Party Services
RewritePilot uses trusted third-party providers only as needed to deliver the service. OpenAI is used to generate replies and rewrites from submitted text. Supabase is used for authentication, account records, and secure data storage. Google Analytics is used on the RewritePilot website for site analytics and product measurement. These providers process data only as needed to provide their respective services to RewritePilot.
4. Security
RewritePilot uses HTTPS, access controls, and standard security practices to protect data in transit and at rest. Access to account data and service infrastructure is limited to what is necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service.
